ADAS Combined Part 1, 2 & 3 (SCUBA 30M & SSBA to 50M)
The Occupational SCUBA and SSBA to 50m qualification (Part 1, 2 & 3) suited to marine archaeologist, research divers, media, aquaculture divers and inspection engineers.
Before applicants commence ADAS Part 1, 2 & 3 training, the ATE must ensure that they:
Are at least 18 years of age at the commencement of training
Are in possession of a valid certificate of medical fitness to dive (see AS/NZS 2299.1) - not more than 90 days from the commencement date of the course.
Are able to swim competently 200m, unattended and water treading for 10 minutes
Hold a recognized certificate of recreational diving competence (e.g. PADI/SSI open divers) with minimum 10 logged dives undertaken since receiving certification and within 6 months of commencing the ADAS training course
Understand written and verbal communication and be able to communicate with other persons in English.
Applicants are required to take language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) test online on the first day of arriving the school for the course. Please register this link http://lln.adas-online.org for online LLN revision.
Hold a recognized Basic First Aid certificate (within 3 years) and Advanced Resuscitation and CPR and O2 management certificate (within 12 months) from Red Crescent/St. John Ambulance or equivalent.
Is able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and vulgar fractions; calculate percentages; and transpose and solve simple formulas such gas laws.

Transportation from accommodation to dive school/sites
Meals (breakfast, lunch and refreshments) during training days only
Trainee to provide own safety shoe, coverall, mask fins, booties and diving knife
Other safety gears will be provided by IDA
Tuition, study material and certification fee included
Deposit & Fee Payment
A 15% deposit is required to confirm a course booking.
The balance of the fee will need to be paid in full 30 days prior commencement of the course.
Your deposit is nonrefundable and nontransferable unless you have a medical reason or in other exceptional circumstances.
If a student fails to pay all outstanding course fee to IDA by the due date (30 days prior to course commencement), the student will forfeit all money paid, along with their place on the course. If a student is experiencing difficulties meeting the requirement, they are to contact IDA prior to the 30 days deadline.
